With busy lives and families, everyone in the household must grab those much-needed zzz's when night falls. An excellent addition to your nighttime routine to gently ease into the evening is the topical application of our Magnesium Rescue, a hydrating and nourishing all-natural plant-butter-based product.

All three of our formulas contain a whopping 9% magnesium chloride, the topical application of which helps to support a healthy and restorative sleep naturally, as well as normal functioning of muscle, body and mind.

Magnesium is an essential mineral that our bodies need to function optimally. Diet, lifestyle, daily stresses, and illness can impact our intake and reserves. In the United States, studies reflect that up to 90% of the population is deficient in magnesium. Supplementing to maintain overall health and wellness can be beneficial.

Topical application is easy to apply, quickly absorbed into the skin and thus into the body, and makes it easier for localised targeting.

For those who have difficulty winding down before bed and need all the help with relaxation and sleep, two of our formulas (kids for 2yrs+ and adults 10yrs+) contain essential oils for a calming, soothing, and sedating atmosphere to support a peaceful, uninterrupted night of rest.

All formulations are great for massage and are helpful in soothing tired and overworked muscles post-exercise, and do not result in itchiness.

Please be aware this formulation is primarily made up of plant butter; it is not a balm, which means you will need to store it somewhere cool during the summer months.

The 50g size is packaged in a glass amber jar (pictured). The larger 90g size is packaged in a aluminium tin.

APPLICATION

Apply a liberal amount to tired muscles, dry skin or stomach area and rub in well. Apply nightly before bed to nourish skin, provide a boost of magnesium, and promote restorative relaxation and sleep.

Smells devine and works a treat

This formulation is dreamy. Goes on easily, works so well on sore tired muscles. Heaps my little one settle his restless legs at night. Great addition to our nightly routine

Bliss in a Tin

I was quite skeptical about trying another magnesium product to support sleep. But I have been pleasantly surprised by this one. I’ve used it during my pregnancy as well as on my bubba’s and it works wonders! Highly recommend Magnesium for kids as it smelled the best to me :)

Life saver!

Originally bought this in hopes it would assist our almost 2 year old in sleeping through. He has, for the past 7 odd months ended up in our bed every night between 10:30 and midnight. Since using the magnesium cream he either sleeps until about 2am and comes through or sleeps right through the night! Our almost 4 year old went from waking up on average once a night to not waking up since we started using this, about 2 weeks ago.

Better than supplements

I’ve been giving my two preschoolers magnesium supplements for a while now to help with growing pains and good rest and while it’s helped hasn’t been consistent. Magnesium Rescue is a completely different story! It absorbs so well, no growing pain complaints plus kids who settle well at night, what’s not to love!

Beautiful product

I had been looking for a magnesium product for my 2.5 year old at bedtime to help unwind. Having purchased great products from The Nude Alchemist in the past I saw this one they had - not only thrilled that they had one, but that it was a young children’’s magnesium product as I had been finding it hard to find a little person’s one! Smells lovely, spreads well (a little goes a long way) , and toddler has been falling asleep quicker. I also use on my 6 year old for sleep aid too and growing/busy and tired muscles at end of the day.
My own muscles are sore from exercise this weekend and I look forward to trying it myself before bed!
